On Wednesday morning, the price of 24-carat gold went up by ₹10, raising the cost of ten grams to ₹71,630.
The price of 22-carat gold rose by ₹10 as well, with ten grams now costing ₹65,660.
Silver also became more expensive, with one kilogram now priced at ₹83,600, an increase of ₹100.
Internationally, the COMEX price of gold slipped by 0.31% to open at $2,506.30 per ounce.
